Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 pounds skin on bone chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Line a 13x9 baking dish with aluminum foil
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the seasonings until well combined
  • Pat the thighs dry
  • Rub each with olive oil on both sides
  • Sprinkle the seasoning on both sides of each piece, trying to get the seasoning under the skin as well
  • Arrange skin sides up
  • Bake approximately 30-40 minutes (usually the lower number)
  • If desired, broil for a few minutes to make the chicken crispier
  • If using boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cook 10 minutes less
