Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 8 quarts unsalted popcorn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Popcorn 8 quarts of popcorn. Set aside
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup, and cream of tartar
  • Bring to boil and boil for 4 minutes
  • Remove from heat and stir in baking soda
  • Pour over popcorn, stirring well
  • Bake in a 250 degree oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
