Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

8 quarts unsalted popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup Karo syrup
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

Popcorn 8 quarts of popcorn. Set aside
Combine butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup, and cream of tartar
Bring to boil and boil for 4 minutes
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda
Pour over popcorn, stirring well
Bake in a 250 degree oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
